DIY Recipe - sweet and sour Fish Ratatouille

One of the trials of moving house is the need to use up everything that you have in the fridge and cupboards to minimize the amount of stuff that you will inevitably need to lug around. As anyone who’s known me for a while would know, I’m something of a throw everything together fusion cook – ie. A mix of Asian and western ingredients thrown together randomly according to whatever I think tastes nice. So I guess the closest to calling the dishes I make the most of is something of a ratatouille.

As one of my all-time favourite dishes happens to be sweet and sour fish, it is inevitable that I would attempt at some point my own ratatouille version…

Anne Boleyn / Ugly Betty Necklace

Ever since I started my little shop on etsy, I have found it somewhat ironic that the thing I make that gets the most hits is my Anne Boleyn / Ugly Betty style necklace that I was inspired to make after a The Tudors marathon starring the very talented Natalie Dormer in the iconic role.

I still find it somewhat awkward though, that the necklace is better known for being worn by Betty Suarez than by the historical style-maven of the piece, Anne Boleyn.

Still at least it’s nice to find out that there are people out there who like to make their own creative take on this iconic piece of jewellery…

I’m very pleased with how these pieces turned out, considering that I sourced all of the materials from Lincraft and the fact that the hanging drops have been attached using a hot glue gun…
